PIP & DLA SUPPORT

What Is PIP and DLA?

A Personal Independence Payment (PIP) can help you with some of the extra costs if you have long term ill-health or a disability.  To qualify you must have a health condition or disability causing difficulties with your daily living or mobility for at least 3 months and these difficulties expected to last for more than 9 months.

Disability Living Allowance (DLA) is a payment for children who are under 16 to help with extra costs of looking after them or managing mobility difficulties.  To qualify the child must have a disability or health condition which results in the child having extra caring needs more than a child of similar age or they have difficulties getting about.

There are a number of organisations that provide information about benefits and as a matter of routine, we direct clients to these organisations. However, in some cases we are able to support with some applications.
